Biography
Angel with wings

"What does your art mean?" Often, I don't have a quick answer to this daunting question. "How much time do ya got?" is the most apt response.

My art is about preserving an inner child and using creativity as therapy to cope with life's pressures. I was raised to be a doodler in Brunswick, Maine by two creative parents—my father a carpenter, my mother an artist. Central to my work is an adolescent who lost his mother too soon to substance abuse. Art is my catharsis.

What started as childish scribbling has transformed into daily self-care. Over the years I have accumulated dozens of portfolios and sketchbooks, and after creating primarily for myself, I'm now excited to share my art with others.

Each piece is a tribute to my mother and a celebration of my neurodivergence. Beyond that, my work has been deeply influenced by extensive travels throughout Spain, Chile, Mexico, and Colombia, infusing my art with vibrant colors, patterns, and cultural depictions. While I love challenging myself to produce more "realistic" work, I gravitate towards free-hand and "train of thought" creations in response to my surroundings.

Folkloric mythology is another significant influence. I'm intrigued by the array of gods, goddesses, and supernatural creatures across every continent, creating connections between ancient stories and my own experiences.

Please contact me if any piece resonates with you. I'm open to commissions and welcome the opportunity to create something unique for you.
